It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brooks Christian Walker of Prosperity, West Virginia, born in Pineville, West Virginia, who passed away on August 30, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Delpha Walker and Velva Walker; his wife Aleita; and his sisters, Emily Phillips and Delphine Hill.
He is survived by: his children, Sonja Brunke of Prosperity and Vernon Walker (Erica) of Beaver; his grandchildren, William Brunke (Deanna) of Prosperity, James and Madison of Beaver; his great grandchildren, Jolene and Ben of Prosperity; and his sister Nancy Acord of Pineville.
