We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2022, at the age of 70, Deliliah Lou Stokes of Proctor, West Virginia, born in Wheeling, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Mikels and Betty McCardle; her husband Elgin Stokes; her siblings, Dorothy Mikels and David Mikels; and her stepmother Ruth Mikels.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Butler (Tawakoni) of Norfolk, VA, Bobbie Alexander (Dave) of Proctor and Buddy Yoho (Jami) of Proctor; and her siblings, Lavern Johnson (Vince) of Martins Ferry, OH, Jake Mikels of Moundsville, George Mikels (Deborah) of Moundsville, William Mikels (Violet) of Moundsville and Francis Mikels (Lynn) of Valley Grove, WV. She is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
