He was predeceased by: his mother Nancy Anderson (Greathouse); his daughter-in-law Brianna Anderson; his grandmother Mary Greathouse; and his uncle Ernie Anderson. He is survived by: his father David V. Anderson of Proctor; his wife Dottie Anderson of Proctor, WV; his children, Kimberly Brock (Joshua) of Moundsville, WV, Joshua Edwards (Amanda) of Wheeling, WV and Brandon Anderson of Proctor, WV; his grandchildren, Kyler, Bella, Tryten, Onyx, Alencyia, Noah, Atlys and Brandon, Jr.; and his siblings, Amanda Rose Anderson of Proctor, WV, Gary Wayne Anderson of Proctor, WV and Jody Lane Anderson (Michele) of St. Clairsville, OH. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

“I don't know if David was related to me, but he always made me laugh he was so funny and he was related to Joyce and Todd David had a lot of friends that he loved very much and I feel bad for friends and family I went to the visitation yesterday for him his wife was Dottie he spent a long time in the hospital he surely will be missed by friends and family a kid at my school knows David somehow his name is Jon Brown he's in 9th grade like I am he said he misses David to I think his grandmaknows”
