She was predeceased by: her parents, Sammie Junior Bolen and Elizabeth Ellen Farley Bolen; her husband Harry Wayne Gowman; and her siblings, Sammie Dean Bolen and Nancy Ellen Duncan.
She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Gowman (Tiffany) of Jonben and Christopher Gowman (Stormie) of Whitby; and her siblings, Jackie Bolen (Rosemary) of Princewick and Jo White (David) of Coal City. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and another grandchild.
