He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bender Sowers, Sr. and Katherine Snidow Sowers; and his son William B. Sowers, III. He is survived by: his sons, Joel Sowers (Charmaine) of Chesterfield, VA and Brian Sowers (Kimberly) of Cartersville, GA; his daughter-in-law Darlene Sowers of Quinton, VA; his brothers, James Robert Sowers of Warrenton, VA and Donald Sowers (Carol) of Glade Hill, VA; his caregiver Ramona Shook; and also Justin Rutledge. He is also survived by two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Seaver Funeral Home (1507 N Walker St, Princeton, WV 24740).
