She was predeceased by: her parents, George Winton White and Martha Mills White; her husband Willie Ford; her siblings, Ezra White, Lola Shrewsbury, Verleen Mills Akers and Nola White; and her son-in-law Jack Gillespie.
She is survived by: her children, Christol Gillespie of Princeton and Milton Ford (Sharlotte) of Princeton; and her grandchildren, Christy Jennings (Ross) of Lashmeet, Jessica Buresh (Robert) of Morganton, NC, Angie Perkins (Junior) of Princeton and Adam Ford (April) of Herndon. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.
