He is survived by: his mother Thelma Carter; his siblings, Russell Carter (Connie) of Texas, Charles Carter (Katie) of Rock, WV and Pamela Tolliver (John); his close friend Duane Leftrick; his daughters, Jessica (Quenton) of Tennessee and Rachel Leftrick of Tennessee; his nieces, Kelli Shannon and Rylee Garrett; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Calleigh and Brantley Everett of Tennesseee; and also, Jessica and Rachel.
