He was predeceased by: his parents, James Farmer and Virginia Farmer; and his sister Dixie Abramson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Shumaker Farmer; his children, Richie and Jennifer; his grandchildren, Paige Mohamed (Lewis), Richmond Farmer and Braxton Farmer; his great grandchild Malikai Mohamed; his sisters, Phyllis Wood (Chuck), Joyce Farmer and Wanda Collier (Scott); and his pets, Spotty, Copper, Grayson and Wow. He is also survived by his family, friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one of the local high schools, The Mountaineer Marching Band, Second Chance for Cats, or a charity of your choice.
