With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Timothy Darren McCowan Sr. of Princeton, West Virginia, born in Richlands, Virginia, who passed away on January 16, 2023 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Donald Fayne McCowan, Sr.; and his grandchildren, Emily Martin and Judson Griffith. He is survived by: his mother Mildred JoAnne Strought McCowan of Richlands; his wife Nancy Jennings McCowan of Princeton; his children, Timber McCowan of Cedar Bluff, VA, Amanda Boswell (Jake) of Princeton, Merranda McCowan of Richlands, Christene Hill (Orville) of Princeton, Tracey Abbott (Allen) of Bluff City, TN, Keisha Sisk (Cody) of Richlands, Sandy King of Princeton, Kristi Griffeth (Jordan) of Richlands, Ashley Thomas (Sam) of Princeton, Talya Brewster (Jeff) of Richlands, Chelsey Matthews of Princeton and Timothy D. "Tim" McCowan, Jr. (Whitney Coleman) of Pounding Mill, VA; and his siblings, Janet Lawson of Richlands, Missy Meadows of Richlands and Mark McCowan (Sabrina) of Richlands. He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
