Shirley Delp Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2024, at the age of 86, Shirley Delp of Princeton, West Virginia, born in Blowing Rock, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherley Blaine Calloway and Nettie Georgianna Byers Calloway; her husband James Earl Delp; her daughter Pamela Elizabeth Delp; and her son-in-law Harless Martin, Jr..

She is survived by: her close friend Noah Reed of Basin; her children, Kathy Martin of Rock and Richard Delp (Pamela) of Princeton; and her grandchildren, Monica Martin, Shelly Fitzgerald (Franklin), James Martin, Candi Weatherly, Jody DeHart (Heather) and Candace Thornhill (Chris). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Shriner's Hospital for Children.
