With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shelby Rose Akers (Princeton, West Virginia), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Shelby left this world on March 13, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore White (T. R.) and Vernie Simpkins White; and her brothers, William White and Theodore "Junior" White. She is survived by: her daughters, Rose Credille (Brian) of Jefferson City, MO and Tina Ogden (Glenn) of Rich Creek, VA; her grandchildren, Matthew Credille (Tina), Corey Ogden (Courtney), Alan Credille, Briana McMillan (Josh), Sierra Ogden (Alex) and Kayla Ogden (Tory); her brother Bernard White (Joyce); and her sisters-in-law, Shirley McManaway and Charlotte Warland. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fredeking Funeral Service (2565 Goodwins Chapel Rd, Princeton, WV 24739). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
