She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Asbury and Mary Woodring Asbury; her husband Bernard Lewis; her son Bernard Lee Lewis; her grandson Brandon Lewis; and her sister Betty Shrewsbury.
She is survived by: her children, Theresa Chipman and Steven Lewis; her grandchildren, Casey Mills and Charissa Brinkley; her great grandchildren, Hailey Mills, Alyssa Lawless and Logan Mills; her siblings, Brenda Kiser, Barbara Brown, Helen Cecil and Bobby Asbury; and her adoptive children, Kim and Troy Lawson. She is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
