He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Saunders and Hazel Testerman Saunders; his stepdaughter Suzett Jean Holdren Campbell; and his sister Tillie Whitlow. He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean "Jeanie" Dove Saunders; his stepsons, Larry Wayne Holdren, II and Smith; his sister Sonja White of Princeton; his grandchildren, Haley Holdren, Clay Holdren and Janice Johnson; his grandson-in-law Billy; and his pet Taco.
