It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Lloyd Smith of Princeton, West Virginia, who passed away on January 8, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathaniel Smith and Euphene Wilson Smith; and his siblings, David, Leroy, Doug, Fred, Shirley Ann Winborne, Gloria "Dumpty" Todman, Georgia Isabelle Smith and Bessie Reese.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Esther Halsey Smith of Princeton; his children, Barbara Sunae Smith of Hickory, NC, Jennifer Denise Smith of Conover, NC, Celena Donyale Smith of Georgia and Robert L. Smith, Jr. of Georgia; and his grandchildren, Omar Goodson, Cierria Anderson, Regi Tracy, Chanel Martin and Cara Martin. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
