He was predeceased by: his parents, Ward Riggs and Betty Dunford Riggs; and his brother Kirby Riggs. He is survived by: his wife Drema Riggs; his son Ricky A. Riggs, Jr. (Stephanie Sage Riggs) of Princeton, WV; and his sisters, Cindy Reed (Benny Reed) of Elgood and Rebecca Ellison of Princeton.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Memorial Funeral Directory (654 Athens Rd, Princeton, WV 24740). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:45 AM at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens (450 Courthouse Rd, Princeton, WV 24740).
