She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ragan and Maggie Jenkins Ragan Fink; her husband Frank Hamm; her son Mark Hamm; and her brothers, Baxter, Henry and Eugene.
She is survived by: her children, Mike, Darrell, Gary, Greg and Tammy Sherman (Tom); her grandchildren, Kevin, Destiny, Brittany, Cody, Alyssa and Dulcie; her sisters, Maretta Thompson, Nancy Controne and Juanita Thompson; and her daughter-in-law Kimberly Hamm. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
