She was predeceased by: her parents, Avon Manual and Blanche Gertude Repass Hurst; her husband Gerald Keith Burchett; her brothers, John D Hurst and Robert Avon Hurst; and her son James Edward.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Nicholson Sr., Robin Horton (Greg O'Quinn), Melissa White (C. David), Tammy Roark (Daniel), Amy Akers (Bennie), Beth Flack (Derick), Martha Higdon (B. Franko) and Carey Pendry (Mike). She is also survived by grandchildren and 32, great-grandchildren.
