He was predeceased by: his parents, John Doyle Mills and Frances Louise Dick Mills. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Meadows Mills; his children, Lester "Les" Mills of Flat Top, Rebecca Pendleton (T. J.) of Flat Top and Jonathan Mills (Kayla) of Flat Top; his adoptive children, Haylie and Faith; his grandsons, Bryson Pendleton, Tyler James Pendleton, John Mills and Jacob Mills; his brother Marvin Dale "Bear" Dick (Diane) of Des Plaines, Illinois; and his close friend Robert Blankenship of Flat Top.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home Shady Spring Chapel (729 Flat Top Rd, Shady Spring, WV 25918). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
