With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Ann Tweedy Pitt of Princeton, West Virginia, born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on February 10, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Herman Tweedy and Hollie Maritta Liggan Tweedy; her husband Asa Allen Pitt, Jr.; and her son Andrew A. Pitt (Julie Lafferty) of Middlesborough, KY.. She is survived by: her sons, Richard L. Pitt (Krista Legg) of Stow, OH, Stuart H. Pitt (Francesca Colombo) of Summerville, SC, Timothy A. Pitt (Stacy Whittaker) of Princeton, WV and Howard Scott Pitt of Princeton, WV.; and her close friends, Troy Price, Lisa A. Bennett, Matthew Morris, Nikki Tarlton and Brenda Veneri. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
