She is survived by: her children, Karen Garland of Georgia, Tammy Hixson of Virginia, Sheri Smith of North Carolina and Chris Smith (Amber) of Florida; and her grandchildren, Jason Hixson, Andrew Smith, Katie Smith, Amber Hixson, Scott Smith, Cassy Hixson, Allie Smith, Daniel Garland and Blayne Mayfield. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
