She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton Dewey Perdue and Barbara Ellen Harrell Perdue; and her brother Richard "Dick" Perdue (Charlotte). She is survived by: her husband James "Paul" Handy; her children, Tammy Handy Womack, Jeffrey Handy (Kimberly) and Michael Handy (Carla); her grandchildren, Jacob Womack (Sheila), Jonah Womack and Brittany Handy Lippencott (Russell); her great grandchildren, James Womack, Teddy Womack and Tatum Lippencott; and her sister Betty Jo Perdue Ramey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
