He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Dishner and Lucy Belle Grubb Dishner; his son Anthony Ray Dishner; and his siblings, Bruce Dishner, Boyd Elmer Dishner, Ernest Lee Dishner, Bertha Mae Wright, Vada Dishner and Audrey Dishner.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lellen Wright Dishner of Princeton; his son Robert Coy McDowell of Princeton; his granddaughter Allegra Dishner of Princeton; his extended family, Gale and Anna Lee Bolton; and also Robin of Princeton.
