With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nellie Filipek of Princeton, West Virginia, who passed away on March 6, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Jacobowski and Alexandria Kolies Jacobowski; her former husband Joseph J. Filipek; and her siblings, Steve, Charlie Jacobowski, Anne Cope, Rosie Lechalk, Katherine Cofsky and Frances Webb.
She is survived by: her children, Rosanna Whittaker (Jodie) of Princeton, Joseph J. Filipek, Jr. (Larry Richardson) of Rehoboth Beach, DE and Rebecca Smith (William) of Bristol, TN; her granddaughter Kimberly Daugherty (Christopher) of Pittsburgh, PA; her son Michael Filipek (Kristal) of Princeton; and her husband Joe. She is also survived by her children, their spouses and her grandchild.
