She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Thorn and Junie Scott Thorn; her husband Carl R. Butler; her children, Cheri Lynn Hurst and Terry Duane Butler; her grandson Richard Lee Butler (Ricky); and her siblings, Charlie, Joe, Marvin, Carlyle, Crystal, Alice, Edith and Mabel.
She is survived by: her children, Carl "Boe" Butler Jr., Kelly Butler (Vanasa), Mary Ann Linkous (David), Tona Lumpkin (Walter), Dee Dee Hill, Richard Hurst and Tom Hurst (Karen); her niece Faith Burress (Leonard); and her sisters-in-law, Georgia Quick (Dewey) and Marie Dove. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Lilly Grove Baptist Church (1012 Oakwood Ave, Princeton, WV 24740). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Friends who wish to honor her memory may make donations to Lilly Grove Baptist Church in lieu of flowers.
