She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Bowen and Margaret Mooney Gillespie; and her siblings, Mary, Ann, Henry Bowen and John.
She is survived by: her husband David Burton of Princeton; her son Preston Burton (Joanne Mazarella); her grandchildren, Sam and Sophia of Alexandria, VA; her son Clark Burton of San Francisco, CA; and her siblings, Ted (Debbie) of Princeton and Brenda of Wilmington, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
