He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Catron and Lucille Duncan Catron-Tisdale; his brothers, Arnold A. Catron, Everette J. Catron and Walter R. Catron; and his daughter Mary Frances Catron.
He is survived by: his wife Letha Widner Catron; his children, Robin Verne' (Mark) of Princeton, Carrie Lusk (Tracy) of Princeton and Leathern Rob Roy "Rob" Catron, Jr. (Teresa) of Hillsville, VA; his grandchildren, Johnmark Verne', Mary Frances Verne', Joshua Lusk, Zachery Lusk (Jessica), Samuel Lusk (Peyton Brown) and Brittany Little; his great grandchild Quentin Lusk; his sister Loretta Humplick of Houston, TX; his nephew Richard Catron; and his pet Noah.
