She was predeceased by: her parents, Genoa Dye and Fannie Viars Dye; her husband Virgil Bailey, Sr.; and her siblings, Betty Thompson, Fannie Blair, Allen Dye, Kenneth Dye, George Dye, Melvin Dye and James Dye.

She is survived by: her children, Virgil Bailey, Jr. (Tina) of Princeton and Barbe Jean Brock of Tennessee; her grandchildren, Jarrod Bailey and Jazmyn Shook; and her siblings, Retha Lane, William Dye, Edward Dye and Emerson Dye.
