She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Everette Ray and Euna Mae Hannah Dolan; her husband Samuel Clark Peters III; her daughter Nancy; her son-in-law Roy Ware; her daughters, Joanna Tingler (Donnie) and Jana Peters; and her grandchildren, Julie Williams (Scott), Jennifer Roberts (Todd), Roy Ware (Karen), Chris Tingler (Kim), Danny Tingler (Theresa), Autumn Dunbar (DJ) and Leif Olson.
