She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Morris and Emma Morris; her husband Robert J. "Buster" Shorter; and her siblings, Henry Morris and Evelyn Carper.
She is survived by: her children, Rita Woods (Stanley), Hank Shorter (Judy) and Robby Shorter (Debra); and her grandchildren, Jocelyn Woods, Allison Woods and Joshua Shorter.
