Carper; his children, Donald Lamar Edwards of Charleston, WV, Derrick Lee Edwards of Havaco, WV and Diara La'Nee Edwards of Bluefield, WV; his siblings, Elizabeth of Washington and Rev. Fred Carper (Joann); his grandchildren, Jazzylen, Derricka, Janya, Davon, Ce'Layah, Myaunna, Brooklyn, Kailynn, Masiah, Kamden, Kaedon and Demier (Rooster); his sisters, Thomas (Louise Simmions), Alice (James Garland) and Wanda Carper of Bluefield; and his close friend Edna Barber. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins and friends.
