He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Prevento Sr. and Thelma Jackson Prevento; and his siblings, Joy Delegrande, Ralene Winders and Melvin Prevento Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Barbara "Bobbie" Prevento; his daughter Angie Graham (Ronald) of Carswell, WV.; his granddaughter Meagan Burks (Jeremy) of Carswell, WV.; his great grandchildren, Bentlee Burks and Brynleigh Burks; his brother-in-law Lewis "June" Lambert; and his siblings, Mitchell "Dink" Prevento of Jacksonville, Patricia "Tridy" Bunting of Tazewell and Glenna Hale of Tazewell Va.
