He was predeceased by: his parents, J. B. and Enna; his uncle Henry Lee "Sarge" Comer; and his brother-in-law Fred Chandler. He is survived by: his sister Mona Anne; his wife Peggy Ann; his sons, Johnie, Jr. (Donna) of Bluefield, Michael Wayne (Jessica) of Hurricane and Scottie Lee (Amber) of Kellysville; his grandchildren, Weston (Cathy) of Huntington, Bret (Geraldine) of Saint Albans, Evan (Tuesday) of Princeton, Byron (Courtney) of Beckley, Savana (Jacob) of Teays Valley, Jazmin (Adam) of Charleston and Preston of Princeton; and his great grandchildren, Makayla, Jaxon, Scarlette, Emmett, Piper, Aiden, Sophia and Sebastian.
In-lieu of flowers, we ask that contributions be made to St.Jude's Research Hospital in honor of Johnie.
