He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd B. Hendricks, Sr. and Ona Elizabeth Williams Hendricks; his sisters, Mildred Hardee, Lucille Williams, Phyllis Tibbs, Florence Hendricks, Patty Walker and Sibby Turner; his grandson Jeremy Hendricks; and his great grandchild Jarred Brooks.
He is survived by: his wife Eva R. Hendricks of Vivian, WV; his brother Floyd B. Hendricks (Coony) of Vivian, WV; his children, Rev. James L. Hendricks, Jr. of Vivian, WV, Rev. Charles Dana Hendricks (Gerri) of South Carolina and Rev. Rebecca L. Cardwell (David) of Princeton, WV; and his friend Walter Muncy. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
