It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James J. D. Lawson Sr. of Princeton, West Virginia, who passed away on July 11, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Dal Lawson and Margaret Ann Tabor Lawson. He is survived by: his wife Alice Howerton Lawson; his children, James Lawson, Jr. (Candi) of Twin Lakes, WI, Shannon Nowlin (Brandan) of Princeton, Vickie Finley (Jeffrey) of Kannapolis, NC and Heather Cook (Anthony) of Princeton, WV; his siblings, Cecil Lawson (Joann) of DeFuniak Springs, FL, Dennis Lawson (Vicki) of DeFuniak Springs, FL and Diana Rogers (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Ashley, Kyle, Josh, Katie, Jacob, Shane, Wyatt, Daniel, Ezra, Miles and Lainey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
