He was predeceased by: his parent Ray Etter; his stepfather George Bruce; and his brother James Etter. He is survived by: his parent Bessie Melvin Etter Bruce; his wife Zelma Compton Etter; his sons, Bryon (Tina), Benny (Tammy) and Barry (Angelina); his grandchildren, Brandon (Tara), Kevin (Rebekah), Kendall, Isaac, Sarah, Zachary, Jack, Micah, Emma, Hannah, Noah and Abigail; his great grandchildren, Landon, Kolton, Addyson and Peyton; and his siblings, Garland Etter, Jane Angles and Rosie Martin.
