Jack Katona Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jack Katona of Princeton, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 28, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Katona and Anna Bohin Katona. He is survived by: his wife Pollyan Butler Katona; his children, Mark Katona of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Karen Rainey (David) of Daniels; his granddaughters, Catherine, Emily and Heather; his daughter Toni Katona of Staunton, VA; his grandson Jackson; and also Andrew Katona, Jr. of Princeton.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park (3578 Coal Heritage Rd, Bluefield, WV 24701).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Bowers Hospice House, the National MS Society or First Baptist Church of Princeton.
