She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert McCoy and Minnie Whitlow McCoy; her husband Denny LaVerne Hood, Sr.; her son Denny L. Hood, Jr.; and her siblings, Dona Sinclair, James McCoy, Albert McCoy and Mattie Jane Pensule.
She is survived by: her daughter Dona Eileen Jones (Allen); her grandchildren, Tiffany Wohlford, Jody Jones, Joshua Jones, Denny Hood, III and Angela Hampton; her great grandchildren, Kelsey, Tanner, Jade and Blake; her daughter-in-law Rena Hood; and her sister-in-law Doris Lynch.
