It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Stevenson Jr. of Princeton, West Virginia, born in Davy, West Virginia, who passed away on September 25, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Jennings Stevenson; his parents-in-law, Brady Lankford and Dovie Lankford; and his brother-in-law James "Jimmy" Lankford. He is survived by: his father George Stevenson Sr.; his children, Mickey Stevenson of Midland, NC and Michelle Quinn (Chris) of Leesburg, GA; his grandsons, Steven McElroy of Beckley, WV and Caleb Quinn of Leesburg; his siblings, James Stevenson (Diane) of Lexington, NC, Lenora Sizemore of Holly Springs, NC, Debbie Skeens (Mike) of Beckley, WV and Timmy Stevenson of Mullens, WV; and his sisters-in-law, Debbie Milam (Chris) of Manson, NC, Judy O'Neal (Roy "Pete") of Mullens, WV and Darene Lankford of Princeton, WV. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
