He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Davis and Verda Hatfield Davis; his wife Brenda "Booty" Gillespie Davis; and his sister Neva "Cissy" Repass. He is survived by: his children, Sherry (David Perkins), Dolly Davis and Jason (Debbie Davis); his grandchildren, Holly (Johnny Perkins), Logan Davis and Landon Davis; his great grandchildren, Pyper Perkins and Palyn Perkins; his siblings, William "Billy Ray" Davis, Guy (Teresa Davis) of Jerry, Davis, Wetzel (Jill Davis) and Gaye Hubbard; and his close friend Joey Starkey.
