It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freal Fonso Thompson Jr. of Princeton, West Virginia, who passed away on December 31, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Freal Fonso Thompson, Sr. and Eleanor Huffman Thompson; his siblings, Jerry Thompson and Eva Carol; his son Nathan Thompson; his grandson Richard Lambert; and his former wife Nancy Thompson.
He is survived by: his sons, Jason Thompson (Lisa) of Princeton and Samuel Thompson (Tessa) of Princeton; his grandchildren, Jason Thompson, Jr., Kaylee Thompson, Samuel Thompson, Jr. (Hannah), Daniel Thompson, Michael Thompson, Braylen, Jadah and Ary; his great grandchildren, Scarlett, Jazlynn, Hazel and Raylee; his siblings, Allen Thompson (Carol) of Spanishburg, Geneva Jenkins (David) of Kegley, Glenda Ford (Steven) of Speedway and Delores Harmon (Dewey) of Lashmeet; and his sister-in-law Brenda Thompson of Speedway. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
