He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Mills and Opie Reed Mills; and his grandson Dallas Williams. He is survived by: his wife Margie Odle Mills; his children, Michael Ellison of Marion, NC, Tammy Sprinkle (Ray Rice) of Bland, VA, Rebecca Wright (Donald) of Kegley and Rachel Mills (Wayne Lucado) of Newton, NC; and his grandchildren, Amy Mills (Mike Marlow), Ryan Williams, Ashley Wright, Breanna Mills (Hayden Blohm) and Donald Wright, Jr. (Madison Ellis). He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
