He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Barr and Ollie Poe Barr; and his siblings, Larry, Ray, Hazel, Howard, Blanche, Charles, Roy and Gene.
He is survived by: his son Edward Harold Barr, II of Spanishburg. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
