She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Raymond Rees and Florence Feik Rees; her husband Junior Foster Sanders; and her siblings, Wilma Rees, Melvin Rees, Norma Grapes, Etta Rader, Milton Rees and Dean Rees.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell Lee Rees (Connie) of Princeton, Marie Sanders (Douglas Thomas) of Princeton, Gary Sanders (Renee Rose) of Bluefield and Brian Sanders (Tiffany Formato) of Princeton; her siblings, Marvin Rees (Betty) of Kansas, Lila Zimmerman (Zeke) of Kansas, Loyal Rees of Kansas, Alma Sexton of Kansas and Avis Burgman of Kansas; and her close friend Wendy Robinette of Athens. She is also survived by six grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
