She was predeceased by: her parents, Melda Spry Blair and Lamir Blair; her spouse Meade; and her siblings, Shovonna Morgan, Marie William, Stella Faye Blair, Roger Maynard (Maxine) and Lamir Blair Jr..
She is survived by: her sons, Lacey Eugene Adkins and Mason Ernest Finley (Mary); her grandchildren, Stacey Adkins and Jamie Marie Ingle; her pet Callie; and her siblings, Lucian Maynard (Sally), Patricia Jarrell and Janet Duncan (Mark). She is also survived by Five great grandchildren; Two great-great grandsons: many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Directory (654 Athens Rd, Princeton, WV 24740). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens (450 Courthouse Rd, Princeton, WV 24740).
Della's favorite charity was St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The family has requested in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Della's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at https://www.stjude.org.
