He is survived by: his sons, Walter Maurice Kendrick of Princeton, Michael Dickerson of Knoxville, TN and Bryan Edwards of Bluefield; his siblings, Leonard Rucker, Jr. of Princeton, John Oliver Rucker (Myra) of Princeton and Leondi Murphy (Bennie) of Columbia, SC; his stepmother Bishop Virginia Rucker of Princeton; his stepsiblings, Alfred Johnson (Debra), Marquenta Cox (Darian), Alfreda Calloway (James), Valissa Proctor (Anthony) and Sharon Elmore (William); and his niece Olivia Rucker of Princeton. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
