It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Danny Reed of Princeton, West Virginia, born in Bluefield, West Virginia, who passed away on September 15, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Reed and Louise Reed; his brothers, Larry and Jimmy Reed; and his parents-in-law, Rayford and Pauline Kilgore.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Reed; his children, Michael Reed (Kristin) of Sandlick and Leeann Taylor (Eddie) of Princeton; his grandchildren, Trey Taylor, Rylee Reed, Brooklyn Hayes, Maddy Taylor and Macey Hayes; and his close friends, Larry Auton, Missy Havens, Kevin Hedges, James, Jessica Hedges and Jackie Spalding. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Danny's memory to the Montcalm Little Generals Football League at 5606 Sandlick Rd., Bluefield, WV 24701.
