He is survived by: his mother Doris Baker Lester of Jolo; his wife Tabatha Lester; his sons, Dennis Lester (Dakota) of Knoxville, TN, Micheal Lester (Becca) of Greensboro, NC, Matthew Lester (Melayna) of Grundy, VA, Shane Lester of Richmond, VA, Eric Lester (Ashley) of Paynesville, Brady Lester, Austin Lester and Andrew Lester; his siblings, Lewis "Junior" Lester (Rose) of Grundy, VA, Sharon Rowe (Dwayne) of Jolo, Debbie Tate (Wayne) of Wytheville, VA, Angie Mullins (Rayburn) of West Liberty, KY, Randy Lester (Leeann) of Grundy, VA, Tasha Lester and Brandon Lester; and his grandchildren, Aubree Lester, Camryn Lester, Jordyn Lester, Avery Lester, Shepard Lester, Tucker Lester, Hayes Lester, Ellie Lester, Lilly Lester and Easton Lester.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Fanning Funeral Home (4299 Coal Heritage Rd, Iaeger, WV 24844). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
