He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Bowling and Mildred Bowling; his wife Shirley Mae Bowling (Norfolk); his son Steven Bowling; his sister Tonna Proffitt; and his grandson Travis Churchwell.
He is survived by: his sister Sandy Poole of Princeton; his daughters, Julie Linkous of Bluefield, Nancy Churchwell of Hickory, NC, Debbie Simmons of Phoenix, AZ and Lynn Coleman of Bonita Springs, FL; his grandchildren, Jeremy Visnesky, Allison Perkins, Jennifer Hilbert, Sharon Pletcher, Ashley Raposo and Abbie Coleman; and his great grandchildren, Macie Jo, Kade, Karter Perkins, Abel, Iris Raposo, Madeline, Mackenzie Visnesky and Drake Pletcher.
PRINCETON - Danny Eugene Bowling, 85, of Hickory, NC, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 18. 2022 after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's disease.
