She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dempsey Phillips and Lilly Mae Jones; her stepmother Betty Phillips; her sister Anita Gaye Phillips; her niece Brianna Mae Allen; and her nephew James Edward Phillips.

She is survived by: her sisters, Rhonda Sue Shields (Earl) of New Richmond, Sherry Lynn Allen (Rick) of Union, Janet Lane (Jerry) of New Richmond, Lana Lester of Pineville and Jackie Winebrimmer (Gary) of Gap Mills; and her pet Mia. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family members and many friends.
