He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Henderson Vaught and Grace Stanley Vaught; his siblings, Louise Roughton, Lucille Thomas, Betty Booth, Mae Reed, Marie Spicer, Annabelle Meadows, Joyce Parcell, Martha Beasley, Cecil Vaught, Jack Vaught, Clarence Vaught, Earl Vaught, Virgil Vaught and Clifford Vaught; and his stepson Glen Cline.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Cline Vaught; his stepdaughter Missy Morrell (Jon) of Princeton; his grandchildren, Chance Walters of Princeton, Amanda Moulder of Princeton, Molly Moulder of Princeton, Brooke Cline of Princeton and Jackson Cline of Princeton; his siblings, Syl Vaught of Ripplemead, Jess Vaught of East Bend, NC, Bill Vaught of Rich Creek, VA and Rachel Herman of Thomasville, NC; and his close friend Mary Day. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
